  Artist Statement

Drawing is my dialogue between memory, myth and quiet moments.

My ink works explore the subtle presence of femininity, tracing lines that weave thougths, emotions, and hidden stories into each composition.

Each mark is a whisper, a pause, a part of a world that exists between stillness and movement.

Inspired by Hiddensee, where I live, and the island’s landscapes and myths, I use very fine rapidographs or pens, without preliminary sketches and the possibility to erase anything to create rather dreamy aesthetics in filigree networks of lines.
